Alison Ressler ’83 serves as co-chair of Columbia Law School’s $300 million campaign. As a longtime and generous supporter, Ressler has served in multiple leadership capacities, including co-chair of the Dean’s Council and Reunion Committees. Ressler was awarded Columbia Law School’s Medal for Excellence in 2016. A co-head of Sullivan & Cromwell’s global private equity group, and a member of the firm’s management committee, Ressler is a leading authority on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and capital markets, and has been honored by various media outlets for her innovative deal-making, including the Financial Times and American Lawyer.
